KEY INFORMATION
Bangor Public Realm scheme was intended to refresh and revitalise the town centre, with new footpaths and stonework, benches and public lighting. Our project involved the replacement of the general street lighting through the town, along with decorative feature lighting.
This included ground recessed lighting and under bench lighting, as well as the bespoke decorative feature column lighting, which was designed to give a sail effect. All of these incorporated colour changing lighting linked to a control system, which allows the client to change to any colour or combination that they could want. The ground recessed lighting can give the effect of flowing in colour changing waves.
The new lighting has transformed the area, creating a unique town centre.
