Gilford Riverside Walkway has transformed an underutilised section of the Bann River corridor into a quality multi-use walking and cycling trail, and provided a new first-class outdoor recreational amenity that will help improve the health and wellbeing of local people.
The walk stretches from the centre of the town out to Woodlands Park alongside the River Bann, passing Gilford Mill. We installed new lighting along the path, including both column mounted and handrail mounted lighting.
